"I've been a creative soul for as long as I can remember. As a self-taught artist and jewelry designer—built on curiosity, practice, and continuous learning—my creativity has always been something that flows from within.
When I’m not researching for Women of Color in the Workplace or writing books, I am creating.
I remember when I was young, painting denim shorts and finding new ways to bring color into everything I touched. People noticed early on and would often say, 'You’re so creative'—and they were right. Creativity has always been my natural language.
Over time, my work has expanded across mediums, from canvas and custom furniture to wearable art and jewelry. Intuitively, I work with a multicolor approach in my pieces, drawn to the full spectrum of energy and expression. I don’t limit myself to a restricted palette—every vibrant hue has a place. That love of color shows up not just in my artwork, but in my wardrobe, my home, and the way I view the world.
